Block Print Berlin

—An Original Māya Experience

Explore our block printing and resist workshops in Berlin.

Our practice is rooted in slow craft and textile storytelling.

Atelier Māya is a studio-based block printing and resist practice grounded in slow craft, material research, and textile storytelling. Our approach treats block printing and resist techniques as contemporary design disciplines shaped by rhythm, repetition, and experimentation with surface, colour, and process.

Our workshops explore traditional woodblock printing and wax resist techniques through a modern, sustainable lens. In our workshops, participants work with hand-carved blocks, studio-mixed eco-friendly inks, natural dyes, earth pigments, indigo, and natural fibres. Print explorations at Atelier Māya allow participants to engage in mindful, process-led making that values experimentation, restraint, and material awareness over fast results.

Each block print experience is designed to support both beginners and experienced designers seeking a deeper connection to textile craft. Through immersive slow craft textile workshops, we share a thoughtful and creative approach to craftsmanship, sustainability, and creativity. Our work is informed by long-term field research and responsible colour practice.
