Consultations at Atelier Māya
The atelier is a working research studio. It is not open for drop-in visits or informal studio tours.
Consultations are intended for those who wish to engage more deeply with the practice, the research, or the thinking behind Atelier Māya. These sessions take place in a focused and intentional way.
A consultation is a one-on-one session for artists, designers, and practitioners seeking direction, feedback, or support in developing their creative practice, textile work, workshop structure, or studio concept
What is a Māya Consultation
A consultation is a focused one-on-one session with Lizane Louw — artist, designer, textile researcher, and founder of Atelier Māya.
It is a paid professional engagement, designed for individuals, studios, and organisations. We are happy to connect with anyone seeking guidance on the studio’s research in heritage craft, sustainable textile practice, and material research, as well as our development of contemporary print culture.
Consultations are shaped around your questions, challenges, or areas of exploration. You come with intention. You leave with clarity.
