Consultations at Atelier Māya
The atelier is a working research studio. It is not open for drop-in visits or informal studio tours.
A consultation is a one-on-one advisory session for artists, designers, researchers, brands, and practitioners seeking informed guidance drawn from years of field research, studio practice, and professional experience.
Sessions may focus on textile research, product and collection development, creative direction, educational programming, studio development, cultural partnerships, and research-led creative practice.
What is a Māya Consultation
A consultation is a focused one-on-one session with Lizane Louw — artist, designer, textile researcher, and founder of Atelier Māya.
It is a paid professional engagement, designed for individuals, studios, and organisations. We are happy to connect with anyone seeking guidance on the studio’s research in heritage craft, sustainable textile practice, and material research, as well as our development of contemporary print culture.
Consultations are shaped around your questions, challenges, or areas of exploration. You come with intention. You leave with clarity.
